Rangefinders rock

Shot an event today and nearly all of the photos used were taken with the Epson R-D1 and the Leica 50mm Summilux. Great focal length for the venue and I love the look of the resulting images. Ha. Now all I need is a second body for a wider lens… I wonder what that could be?

…and then I had my second body: an M9. Perfect combination for press theatre events. Used the M9 with 35mm Summicron and 50mm Summilux and the Epson R-D1 with the 50mm. Took many fewer photos. Very happy with the results.
